Javier’s story.
Javier is 20 years old and from Honduras.
He was referred to us by a homeless shelter for teenagers that we work with. Since joining the Lion's Gate Ministry home in July 2019, Javier has become a part of our family and we have had the privilege of watching him grow and achieve some of his goals.
In June 2020 Javier graduated High School, which was a huge accomplishment! Javier is the first in his entire family to ever attend school so it was amazing to see his dream of graduating come true. He is now able to work and send money home to his family in Honduras and hopes to one day become a nurse.
